Shane Kirk > What a day! This was taken on June 20th, 2009 near Lebo, Kansas. This storm had several funnel clouds and a tornado. I chased this cell for a few hours. It was amazing to watch as it developed into a pretty wicked storm! Definitely the best chase to date!
Shane Kirk > This photo was taken in Weston,Missouri. The barn on the right is used to dry out tobacco. This was also the first shot of the day! I chased this storm for 5 hours where later I took lightning shots in Olathe,Kansas. Extremely fun day!!
Shane Kirk > June 5th, 2008 near Maryville, Missouri.Outflow boundary with a flash of lightning in the distance.Talk about windy! This same storm had a few tornado warnings on it earlier in the day. On my way back home there was a tornado warning in Savannah,Missouri and I just so happened to be driving through! I had to pull over under an overpass just in case! Not a safe place but I'd much rather take my chances there than on the highway in the dark! The lightning would light-up the sky and there were some VERY low clouds and lightning extremely close.A very eerie feeling.

Shane Kirk > Taken in Cameron, Missouri on June 27th, 2008.What a fun storm to watch develope.We drove up north just in time to see this before sunset. I was with my Dad and brother and it was fun to have someone else with me to yell with excitement as this developed! Strange? YES!
