August 13th, 2010 west of Topeka, Kansas. This storm had the most amazing mammatus clouds I've ever seen! No color alterations! After we left here, we took advantage of the lightning display that entered the area. A spectacular show went for hours!
I am originally from the great scenic state of Utah. I have to admit I miss the mountains, Moab, Arches, Zion, Capital reef, Bryce, Lake Powell, Alta and well you get the point! Even with it being so flat out here there is so much beauty in the simple things. I have grown to appreciate what Kansas and Missouri have to offer!
Taken on June 19th, 2008 in Kansas City, Missouri. This field is home to six very nice Whitetail bucks. One being a 13 point monster!
This shot was taken at the Squaw creek bird refuge in Mound City,Missouri on April 20th, 2008. I always enjoy this place. There is such a variety of birds and animals to see.
June 12th, 2008. This was the most amazing sunset I have EVER seen! I took this looking toward Leavenworth, Kansas. No color or alterations to this shot at all. There were some incredible storms in the area and I shot lightning not long after this. Notice the mammatus clouds!
A barn not far from my home. It is rare that I drive by without stopping for a few photos.
